The prints are made to the highest possible standard by a small independent business supplying the top galleries in the South East.

The stretcher frames are 38mm deep and are hand-finished with UV protective varnish.

The sizes shown on the site are mainly 60cm x 60cm. Other sizes are available - just email me for details.

With regards to the paintings - I use only the finest quality materials - right through from primer to final finish.

This ensures the works will be light-fast and stable for at least 100 years - ensuring you get maximum benefit from your investment.

Mike Edwards is one of Brighton's most successful and exciting artists. His bold and broad ranging approach to making art combines an exceptional painting skill, a sound grasp of current technologies and a passion for eye-popping imagery.

Mike initially trained as a fine artist and spent 15 years as an artisan painter working to commission for a range of exclusive private clients prior to creating his own unique works. For the last five years he has focused on his fascination with the pixel - and the marriage of digitally based images with traditional painting techniques. His ground-breaking method of using text, pixels and icons to create photographically realistic images is both technologically innovative and visually striking. Using painstaking skill Mike produces works which connect on many levels.

In his ‘Lexigraph’ work the relationship between the text from which the image is constructed, and the photographic image itself, combine to heighten the impact of both. Drawing inspiration from contemporary media, Pop Art, classical painting and Rock and Roll - Mike's pieces are initially striking, and yet go on to reward the viewer further as the eye is drawn to the text and the story of the painting is revealed.

Mike Edwards’ work is sought by collectors the world over. He has produced bespoke commissions for a wide range of clients, using personal images and texts to create pieces which have a direct resonance with the buyer.
